The Blog Services That I Offer and The Promotion That I Do For My Posts

BLOG CONTENT

The main thing that I focus on doing for you is creating great content for your blog. This content is search-engine friendly but it's also of actual interest to the people who will visit your blog. I write many different types of articles across a diverse range of industries. I encourage you to check out my blog portfolio to see samples. You can also see links to many of my most recent articles through my blog Diary of A Smart Chick. Examples of some of the types of blog content that I create are:

How To Guides. I write comprehensive How-To articles for your industry.
Top 10, Top 20, Top 100 lists. These are highly popular on the web.
News posts. I find news that is relevant to your industry and write about it on your site.
Reports about your business. This may include interviews with your staff or general media releases.
Links Out. It's often nice to include a weekly round-up highlighting the other great blogs in your industry.
Video-rich or photo-rich posts. I can pull videos and photos from around the web (with appropriate copyrights) to create interesting posts.
Simple posts. Sometimes it's good to include just general posts about the industry.

No matter what type of post I am writing, I consider it of utmost importance to make sure that the information is accurate, engaging, original and proofread before posting. Note that I can also add appropriate tags, categories and meta data information for you if I am posting directly into your blog. If you don't know exactly what this means, ask me.

BLOG PROMOTION

I consider it my job to encourage people to read the blog content that I write for you. For every blog post that I write, I do all of the following online promotion:

Promote the article through my online social networking accounts. I promote everything through Twitter and post as appropriate to LinkedIn, MySpace and Facebook.
Promote the article through online social bookmarking sites. This may include promotion on Digg, StumbleUpon, Mixx, Tip'd or other small social bookmarking sites that are relevant to your industry.
Write about the topic of the article on my own blog. This allows me to promote the blog to all of my usual readers as well as to use relevant keyword links to increase the credibility of your blog.
Write about the topic of the article on another article site. There are many other sites where articles can be posted which drives more traffic to your blog and adds additional keyword links coming in to your site.
Ask and answer relevant questions online. I use Yahoo! Answers and LinkedIn Answers to further spread the word about the blog.
Submit the blog to relevant blog carnivals. This means they are posted on other sites. This service is provided for most, but not all, posts as it depends on the content of the post and the blog carnivals that are currently active.

The above services are included in my standard rates. The following services can be added on for a fee:

Identify relevant industry blogs and comment on them. This helps significantly in attracting new readers to your blog.
Locate relevant forums for your industry and post there. This is good for some industries but not others. Let's talk about it.
Guest posts on other sites. I search through the industry to find high-ranking blogs that will allow me to guest post with a link back to your site.
Submission to blog directories. I do some of the major ones automatically when any of my clients' blogs reach 3 months of content. (For example, I submit the URL to Google at that time.) However, I can do more extensive submissions on request.

Also, do note that the work that I do to promote your blog is not the same as doing your social media work (which involves setting up social media accounts for you).
