Sample Packages and Rates

Following you will find three suggestions for sample packages along with the standard rate that I charge for such a package. Note that the rate is a monthly rate with the expectation that you would make at least a 3 month commitment to working together on the blog. This rate includes the social promotion described in my overview of blogging services. These packages are not set in stone but instead are designed to guide you as we select the type of content and frequency of posting that is right for you.

As you read through the following packages, you'll need to know that:

Short posts refer to posts that are approximately 250 words in length. These are ideal for summing up a related article on another site, focusing on the use of a specific keyword article or reporting brief news in the industry.
Standard posts refer to posts that are approximately 500 words in length. These posts usually expand on a specific topic in your industry or provide media-style updates about your business.
Feature-length posts are approximately 1000 words in length. This is the meat of your blog and the reason people will read it. These posts may be How To Guides, Top # Lists, Interviews, etc.

Also, please note that these rates are flexible. I offer a range of discounts to various types of businesses including green businesses, woman-owned businesses and writing businesses. I'm always open to discussing bartering for services or other options. Just ask!

Recommended Blog Package #1 - THE FULL PACKAGE - $1200/month

This blog package offers your website a full range of services. It is designed to keep readers coming back to your site on a daily basis, tp enhance the search engine friendliness of your site and draw attention/links to the site from various online sources. This package would post daily Monday - Friday and includes the following:

1 feature-length article per week
2 standard-length posts per week
2 short posts per week
1 weekly round-up post with links out to other sites

Recommended Blog Package #2 - THE BASIC PACKAGE - $750

This blog package will provide you many of the same services as "the full package" but is less comprehensive in its scope. This is a good package for blogs that are just starting out and want to begin slowly. This package includes the following:

3 standard-length posts per week
2 additional feature-length articles per month
1 round-up post for the entire month

Recommended Blog Package #3 - THE BARE MINIMUM - $450

A website that doesn't have a lot of funding for blog services but does want to have a blog may find that this is a good starter package to try out. This package includes the following:

2 short posts per week
1 standard-length post per week
1 feature-length post per month

Please note that I am always happy to assist you in putting together a monthly package that differs from these recommended packages. If you want a blog that doesn't have long content but instead has multiple posts throughout each day that are short and newsy then I can do that. If you want a blog that only has one post per week but it's a really detailed 2000 word post, I can do that. Let's talk.
