I just finished writing an article for my Hub Pages site about Christmas gifts for writers and bloggers. I wanted to share it with others and that reminded me that I promised an early December blog post about the work that I did in November. That’s because there were a bunch of articles that I did on my Hub Pages site that I’d wanted to share with you. For those of you who don’t know, Hub Pages is a place where bloggers can provide information on a range of different topics. I pride myself on running the gamut of my range which allows me to stretch my research skills and improve my writing.
Here are some of the Hub Pages articles that I did during the last few weeks:
- Decorating your Dorm Room with Personal Style
- Helping a Loved One End a Bad Relationship
- How to Make a Home Fire Escape Plan
- How to Naturally Induce Labor
- How to Deep Fry a Turkey
- Getting Custody of your Kids after a Divorce
- How to Make a Candle out of Crayons
- How to Refinance your Home
- Learning how to Juggle
- How to Present Your Business to an Interested Client
- How to Build a Tree House
- Shopping Advice: Men Buying for Women
- Ten Tips for Increasing your Happiness
- Learn Cartooning from Online Lessons
In addition to my work at Hub Pages, here are a few of the other jobs that kept me busy throughout November:
- During the week, I could be found researching and writing all that there is to know about voice communications technology for PC World. One of my favorite areas of research was watching the news that Jajah was releasing about its business and assessing what was really behind the hype. Other reports included
- My weekends and Thanksgiving holiday were filled with reporting on broadband and technology news for my regular job at Broadband Reports.
- I maintained my daily blog posts for my regular blog sites which included researching and providing information on tattoo removal, infertility, vein disease treatment advances and anti-aging options. I also maintained by daily blog posts for Reverse Mortgage information and online dating. See the blogs page on my website for links to those blogs.
- I am hard at work on my third book, a guide to inexpensive alternative home building. That kept most of my November quite busy.
December is going to be a quiet month in some ways. I’m taking a vacation which I’m excited about and cutting back a few jobs that don’t have a lot going for them in this last month of the year. However, I’m still going to be doing all of the regular work that I’ve been doing and will update you accordingly.
As we come into the new year, you’ll see more regular posts from me here. You’ll get near-daily updates about where you can find my work online in addition to information about my upcoming projects and general thoughts about the business of writing.
