I’m mostly a writer but of course I also crochet and I do dabble in other types of artwork as well, such as collage art. I believe that all people sbould be multi-dimensional and should take the opportunity to explore their creative urges in different ways. One of the ways I do that is by participating in group and community art projects when the opportunity presents itself. For example, I recently submitted my work to Papergirl SF, a local community art project where you donate art and it gets delivered by bike messenger to random interested pedestrians.
Papergirl SF submissions
I shared my Papergirl SF submissions last week on both my crochet blog and my personal blog so you can see all of the various pieces between those two pieces. The submission included 3D crochet sculpture art. I also took photographs of that art and used an online photo editor to manipulate the photos into something different to share as 2D art. Here’s one sample of each style:
Various Other Art
I have participated in various other art projects in recent years, such as the Art House Co-op projects. See more of my art here.
